Some might say we have a little shoe problem at our house.
What do you think?
p.s. I am looking and open to all ideas as to what to do with this little area in our house.
It drives both Gene and I crazy.

We have a rule that only two pairs of shoes can be by the door...the rest have to be put AWAY in the closet.
Maybe a bench, for the shoes to slide under (and you sit to put your shoes on)? or a basket? We did a basket for awhile, till the kids destroyed it, but that's besides the point. Ryan's sister has built in benches with drawers...each kid has a drawer, and under the drawers, there's enough room for shoes to slide under....like 8 inches or so. The drawers are for hats, gloves, etc.

I think you need a thing like mine built in then you can hang all the coats inside and put the shoes under... It would not be that hard to build... Tell Gene to get going on it...lol
