Womens Conference

In this picture is Lisa Morales, Camille Cope, Abby Billings, Gina Jones, Pat Moore, Audra McHoes, Brandi Duvall.

The Cheese cake factory after the confernce. So yummy.
Us eating our cheesecake on the grass cause the restaurant was so busy. But who cares we got our Cheesecake and good friends who needs a table and proper silverware.
This was so much fun i am so glad that I was able to go. Thanks ladies for a fabulous night out.

So I had the great opportunity to go to women's conference on sat. night It was cool. I loved every min of it. I have never been to a conference at the conference center before. When the Prophet walked in it went completely quiet and everyone stood up. I loved it. So neat to see the respect and awe of the women have for The Prophet. It was so neat to hear the Relief Society Presidency talk and give us such wise council. Then for President Uchdoft to talk to us. I loved every minute of it. I caught myself just smiling as I was listening to the speakers.

This is how we ended up at the cheesecake factory.
So they announced that our stake was getting tickets and I wanted to and then they didn't get enough tickets for what they had signed up to go. Then people started to back out. So we thought maybe 20 people from our ward would go. I showed up to the church at 345 and no one was their. So when we all showed up we decided that we would get dessert if all could fit in one car. We did so cheesecake factory here we come.

Feeding the ducks.

Me and Kami. Yes this is how I do the park. Sitting on a bench watching

Jesse just running and enjoying life.

James. I don't think I have a picture with his tongue in his mouth.

Kelty just being a girl and taking her own picture. She is the biggest ham ever.

So Sat. Gene's cousin Kami called and said I was just at the bread store and for a $1 i got a ton of bread to feed the ducks. So lets go. So I loaded the kids up and went to Salem Pond. It was fun for a min then the ducks started to get full I guess so the ducks started leaving. I forgot to take pictures of that part but I got some good ones of the kids at the playground. So here is what I did on sat.

This year we where having trouble with James really learning how to swim. So we did swim lessons with this kid named Tanner Folster who was freakin amazing in teaching James. Tanner is also involved with the winter swim team called UVRays at springville pool. So he said to put James on that team. So we went and trie out and he made the team. theHe know loves swimming and can't wait to do it everyday. He is always asking is it time to go mom. I am so glad that my kids really know how to swim cause I barely can to save my own life. If they where drowning I don't think I could save thiers and mine. Oh well at least know they can save my life right.

James putting on his flippers so he can swim faster as he would say.

Just happy James all the time. Very rarely is this kid unhappy. But man when he is watch out.

So maybe I shop to much. hum can anyone shop to much i ask you.
Well I had been to old navy and bought Jesse some pants. Well they didn;t fit so I had to take them back. While I was thier he was playing with on of the old navy balls they have. I wasn't paying much attention to him. When all the sudden he is on the floor screaming. I drop everything and pick

him up thinking he just bonked his head. So I am standing thier loving him in Old Navy when a person who works thier says he hit pretty hard do you need some ice. Ice why you might ask he just bumped his head. Well then I kinda got panicky and starting looking for blood. Cause anyone close to me knows how well this mom does with blood. And the whole time I am looking for blood I am thinking Gene is in Springville I am in Orem oh my gosh I have to deal with this stay calm. Well when I finally got him to turn to look at me I saw it was only really a scrap. It did have some blood but just like little droplets nothing big. i can handle that. So I think I better stay home for a while and stop shopping so my kid can stop getting hurt:) Sorry for the long post just haven't updated on our adventures lately.
Just on a quick random side note. I used to laugh at Gene and all he did when he was a little kid. Stories I will have to get into later. But they always made me laugh and think where did you come up with those. I am know realizing they are born with these stories in thier head. Some of the things Jesse has done and he is only 2. I am sorry to my mother-in-law for laughing so hard. Cause I am realizing they really aren't that funny when you are living them.

family Pictures

My cute family. Gene, Camille, Jesse, James, Kelty

My cute parents. Jesse and Connie. Didn't I tell you my dad was excited to be back on his stomping ground.

My brother Chad and his two girls. Chaleesa and Casey. By the way Casey is the best babysitter in the world. I shouldn't let that out but she is really good.

The whole family. Aren't we such a cute bunch.

My sister and her family. Joseph, Matthew, Joe, Christy, Harrison, Anna, Jack. Holy cow five kids. No wonder she is always running like crazy.

So my sister and I had this crazy idea. We decided it would be fun to have family pictures taken at my Grandpa Warrens old barn. So this summer as I was driving by I thought I would stop and ask the person who lives thier now if we could come and do this. Would you know it was my friend Beth from high school. Her sister bought my grandparents house. So she was more than willing to let us do this.

So we went on Mon. night and had such a blast. I think my dad had more fun telling the grandkids where he used to milk the cows and how he helped his dad build this barn. It was a really fun time and here are some of the pictures. I hope you enjoy.

Say it isn't so

My feet after mowing the lawn. What wear shoes when you mow. I would never dream of doing that. That would be silly:) You can't really tell my feet are so green here. I just finished mowing almost the whole yard.

It might be the middle of sept. but this kid won't keep his shirt on. After all day of saying "Jesse where is your shirt?" Then me looking all over the house to find it. I just gave up and let him not where one.

I love how big our yard is.... Untill we have to mow the stupid thing. It seems so big. Yes I do some of the mowing. But I will only do in the middle of the yard cause we seem to have little slithery things that like to live on the edges. You know how well I do when I see those. So it works best if I just do the middle and let Gene do the rest. I love having a big yard and at the same time hate it. In some ways I am glad fall is here. No more mowing for like 3 months. Then I realize I hate the cold and beinf inside all the time. Love it or hate it. You decide

MAKE A WISH

Okay so yesterday we went to the Make-a-wish offices in SLC. Can we just say what an amazingly powerful place that is. My neice has a chordma brain tumor. All I really know is that it is really rare. Make a wish contacted my sister. They then came and saw Anna. Hence they granted her a wish. She went to DisneyWorld. They had an amazing time. So we went to the offices. They have either a going away party or coming home party. My sister did the coming home party. You go to the offices and Anna got to raise a star to the galaxy cause her wish was granted. It is so amazingly powerful. I can't even describe the emotion I felt yesterday.
Thank you make-a-wish. That is all I call say. If you can donate something or anything. I really feel strongly in this organization. They take anything Check out thier website you would be amazed at what they can use to make these wishes come true. Some are so simple some are huge amounts of efforts. makeawish.com is the website sorry. I am not sure how to post links. (did we read previous posts. I am computer stupid.)

Notice anything?????

Okay so I get major loser of the year award. I lost my Diamond Ring. I know Gene is ready to kill me. Luckily for me I have the best husband in the world and is patiently helping to all the paper work for the insurance.
So here is the story. We had been going through all that stress with my grandma. I realized that one day last week when I sneezed I couldn't really move my neck. So for bunco last month I one the big prize. A $25 dollar gift certificate to Primrose Spa. So I decided thier was nothing more I could do for my grandma. So Thurs. I made an appt. for a massage. (my grandma died thurs night). I thought well thier is nothing really for me to do.
So I went and dropped Jesse of to Preschool. Then went to to the spa. I had heard about this sand room that they have. (by the way it is freaking awesome just like being on a beach) So I went a little early to take advantage of this and just relax. I realized that I hadn't taken my watch and rings of. So while I waited for my massage I took them of and put them both on my watch(or so I thought) and clasped it. Then put it in my robe pocket. I went and had my massage(by the way I was so tight she asked if I had been in a car wreck) When I went to get dressed I couldn't find my Diamond just this one. I told them at the spa and looked and looked.
Luckliy I have a very understanding husband. He just said its been a stressful week. We will look all over the house and go check and grandma's. I had even done salsa on thurs. night and we went and checked in the bottles just in case. Wasn't thier. Anyways if anyone sees a Diamond ring laying around check with me it might be mine. I know major space case.

Could anyone have better friends than this

Okay so I have no pictures to post with this but I just need to express my feelings to my friends. Tonight was my grandma's viewing. My friends who only really new my grandma from me talking about her. Some of them met her and new her for years and some just maybe met her briefly. But they showed up at the viewing to support me. Thank you Thank you is all I can say to them. You are wonderful and I am so lucky to have you as friends. I don't know what I would do without you. This last two weeks has been so hard with my grandma and I could always count on them to take my kids if I felt I needed to go and be with her. Or when I was just losing it and needed to vent. Or the night she actually passed away and I couldn't even talk to just let me sit on the phone and cry.
You guys know who you are. Some read this I know and some don't even know about blogger. But for the ones that read this I so appreciate our friendship. I know I probably don't say it enough but I think the world of my friends and would do anything for you. Thanks for everything it really meant alot to me that you would come.

One of the greatest people I knew

I Love you Grandma

Okay this is probably the hardest blog I have had to write yet. My grandma whiting passed away last night. She was home with her 5 kids around her. About 2 weeks ago she fell and broke her hip. She never really recovered from that. She was home from the hospital for just over a week, when she passed away. The funny thing is that my mom called yesterday about 3 and said I want to do salsa can you come and help me. We will get it all ready then tomorrow we can steam the bottles. Me thinking we where in the mess thought no way I am doing it all right now. So I was in the mess at my moms with salsa and my mom had been back and forth from grandmas to her house. My mom was home with me at her house when her younger brother called and said come quick. She did then about 10 mins later she was gone. It is good to know that my grandma is out of pain but so sad to think that I can't just pick up the phone and call her with canning questions or sewing. Or that the next time I am at my moms I can't for just a quick min run over and just sit and talk to her about anything. That is the hardest part for me. I never really took notes of what she said. I always took it for granted that she was going to be here. So for any of you that read this and have an older person in your life that your love and respect like I did my grandma Whiting. Takes notes of the little things in life they do for you. The questions that you ask that you think they will always be here to answer. I also found this quote that is helping me alot so I will post it here for all of you.

From Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium

When king leer dies in act five Shakespeare has written he dies. That is all nothing more no metaphor no nothing. Just a simple he dies.
The culmination of the most dramatical literature is he dies.

It is only natural to be sad. Not because of the words he died. But because of the life we saw prior to the words he dies. I am not asking that you be happy that I must go. I am only asking that you turn the page and keep reading. And let the next story begin. And if anyone asks you what became of me you relate my life with all its wonder and end it with a simple and modest he died. Your life is an occasion rise to it.

I love this quote so I hope if you are having a hard time that maybe it will bring some peace to you to like it has me.

Just thinking

okay so I get mad when I go and check and nobody has updated thier blogs for like a week. Here I am doing the same thing as they did. It has been an emotional roller coaster this last weekend.
They brought my grandma home on mon the 25 of Aug. Then Fri night they called and said come cause they thought she was going. So all the family showed up at her house. Needless to say she didn't pass away. So for the last 72 hours we have been riding this roller coaster of emotions.
My mom and her sisters are about on thier last leg. They have been sleeping at my grandmas for the last 3 nights. They are all so tired I guess you just run on adrienale. (sp) Any ways just thought I would update you on the lastest.
Just an emotional roller coaster.
